Stephen Bennington – CEO
When the company started Steve’s role was to do everything that no-one else was doing, from HR to bookkeeping. But now the business has grown he focuses on the fundraising and relationships with investors, and leading and setting the goals for the company’s talented management team.
Steve has been running and advising technology businesses for over a decade. Prior to that he was a scientist, designing and building some of the UK’s national science infrastructure and running a research team as a visiting professor at University College London’s Centre for Nanotechnology.
Simon Baggott – CMO
Simon is a experienced Product manager and Marketing Director, with a proven ability to develop opportunities for new technologies. He has over 20 years of experience in connecting people with products across B2B and B2C technology businesses. He is an experienced leader and has worked in both large multinational corporations like BOC, GE and JDR Cable systems as well as SMEs.
Rachel Eggington – COO
Rachel’s focus is to keep us ahead of the curve as our company grows rapidly – ensuring we always have the capability, capacity and controls to deliver amazing products and services to our customers.
Rachel’s passion is delivering rapid growth for exciting and game-changing technologies. She has deep experience in leading innovative companies to meet challenging and complex customer requirements across highly regulated industries including aerospace, medical and automotive.
Janet Donovan – CFO
Janet began her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers before moving into industry working for Smiths Aerospace, which become GE Aviation Systems. After leaving GE Janet went on to be CFO at an advanced materials and energy company prior to establishing a boutique management and advisory service firm, where she acted as interim CFO for several companies ranging from an AIM list green-tech firm to small technology SMEs.
She is currently the CFO of M-solv and Q5D.
Chris Elsworthy – CTO
Chris is the CTO of Q5D. Prior to this he set up and ran CEL-UK, an innovative additive manufacturing business for 11 years. He built the company into a successful company that manufactures the highly regarded 3D printers sold under the brand Robox®.
Chris trained as an industrial product design engineer and has a broad spectrum of experience in both large corporations and SMEs.
