Lockheed Martin Ventures doubled its fund size in 2022, mirroring a larger trend in the tech investment space as startups claim an increasing share of technology funding both in the U.S. and globally. In early 2024, Lockheed made an investment in Q5D, and we are excited to collaborate with them. The projects span multiple Lockheed Martin business units, highlighting the wide-ranging potential of our technology.

The two-day event underscored Lockheed Martin Ventures’ dedication to fostering partnerships and developing innovative solutions that will shape the future of our industry and inspire the next wave of groundbreaking ideas. This year’s engagements also emphasized the venture fund’s focus on advancing key areas like attributable autonomy, advanced communications, earth observation, and advanced manufacturing.
