Q5D are changing the way electrical devices are linked together in products from appliances to cars and buses to aircraft and everything in between.
The wiring harness in all of these products is currently made by hand. Q5D robotic hardware has been entirely developed by our mechanical, firmware and software engineering teams to automate assembly of this complex and expensive component.
The success of this project has attracted the biggest harness users and producers from all over the world, and investors too. Now the pressure is on Q5D to deliver, we need to grow!
Production Engineer
The Production Engineer is responsible for the manufacture of Q5D products for our customers and for use in our Technical Assessment Centre. They also play a key role in developing our manufacturing processes and facility as well as working with our sub-contractors for product manufacture.
Applications Engineer
The Technical Applications Engineer is responsible for the delivery of customer projects within Q5D’s Technical Assessment Centre (TAC) using Q5D technology. This includes CAM and GCODE creation, part manufacturing and testing. They are also responsible for assessing the Q5D technology capability and helping improve the performance.
Design & Development Engineer
Design & Development Engineer is responsible for the CAD design and manufacture of internal technology development projects, inc. CAM and GCODE creation, and CAD design for customer projects at Q5D. They are also responsible for assessing Q5D technology capability and making changes that improve Q5D products and processes.
Electronics Engineer
The Electronics Engineer is responsible for the delivery, design, and manufacturer of PCBs and associated firmware for Q5D products and for a wide range of customer electromechanical projects. They are also the technical point of contact between Q5D and our PCB suppliers.
New Business Development Director
The New Business Development Director leads the Sales activities of Q5D under the direction of the CMO, growing the pipeline of sales within target. This role has a strong part to play in the company’s strategy development, bringing the voice of the customer into the strategy process.
